All Seabrook Classic products are
custom built to order. Therefore, all Seabrook Classic products
featured on our sites have separate Shipping Procedures, Cancellation
Policies and Product Guarantees and Warranties from our standard store policies.
Please review thoroughly prior to placing your order with us.
SHIPPING POLICY: IMPORTANT!!!
All merchandise must be opened and inspected for damage at time of
delivery and before signing the bill of lading with the delivery
driver. If you are unable to inspect your order at time of
delivery, write on the bill of lading "subject to
inspection" above your signature.
If you sign the Bill of Lading WITHOUT
inspecting the merchandise or making the above note YOU ARE ACCEPTING
THE DELIVERY AND SIGNING THAT IT IS BEING RECEIVED IN GOOD CONDITION. In
this case, ANY DAMAGE - Including Concealed Damage - Is YOUR
RESPONSIBILITY to claim with the Freight Carrier.
If the merchandise is:
1. Damaged - regardless of how the damage occoured
2. Not what you ordered
3. Incorrect in any way
Refuse the delivery in order to have it returned to Seabrook Classics
for repair or replacement and contact us immediately.
If you have the ability to have the furniture repaired locally please
accept the furniture noting the damage on the bill of lading and contact
us immediately for further instructions.
If delivery is refused, NOTE THE DAMAGE ON THE BILL OF LADING AND
Seabrook Classics WILL HANDLE ALL CLAIMS WITH THE CARRIER AND WILL
RE-SHIP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
IF YOU ACCEPT DAMAGED OR INCORRECT MERCHANDISE REGARDLESS OF THE REASON
FOR DAMAGE, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO FILE CLAIMS WITH THE CARRIER
AND/OR HAVE ITEMS RETURNED TO Seabrook Classics FOR REPAIR OR
REPLACEMENT. CHARGES WILL APPLY.
SHIPPING PROCEDURES:
Seabrook Furniture can be delivered to a
business or a residence, however the carrier only provides curbside delivery
upon arrival. We apologize but inside delivery is not available. If you need to
have the furniture delivered to a residence just make sure you have someone
there who can receive the order as well as be able to bring the order inside
from the curb. Deliveries to business with a loading dock are
shipped via furniture carrier Shelba Johnson - phone 800-230-6415.
Non loading dock businesses and residential deliveries may ship via
various delivery companies and are subject to additional delivery
surcharges.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
All items are custom built to order. Cancellation of orders must
be submitted in writing.
Orders cancelled within two weeks of placing order will receive a full
refund.
Orders cancelled 2 weeks of order date will have a penalty of 50% of the
order total.
Refunds will be processed within 2-3 weeks of the request.
PRODUCT GUARANTEE AND WARRANTY:
Seabrook Classics furniture is manufactured to exacting standards under
constant quality control inspections. Changes in atmospheric
conditions can affect wood products. Extreme changes in humidity
may cause warping, cracks and splits. Uneven surfaces can cause
doors to become out of square and sag.
The only warranty expressed or implied is a one-year guarantee against
defect in workmanship and material. Furniture damaged in shipping
is not included - refer to above shipping policy.
This warranty does not apply to damage that may result from neglect,
accidental or intentional damage, exposure to extremes in temperature
and humidity and alteration or abuse of the product.
Furniture ordered unfinished does not come with a warranty and Seabrook
Classics or Cyber Island Shops is not responsible for custom paint
finishes.
Cyber Island Shops and Seabrook Classics requires a detailed description
of products requiring repair and may require photographs. Claims
must be made by you directly to Cyber Island Shops, Inc. and not
Seabrook Classics. Cyber Island Shops will then contact
Seabrook Classics on your behalf. Once determined that none of the
above exceptions are evident, Seabrook Classics will make the repair or
replacement or approve a local vendor to do so. If a local
vendor is authorized, obligation under this warranty is limited to 60
days after receipt of approval by Seabrook Classics.
CARE & FINISH
Painted Finishes - Clean with slightly damp cloth only. Wipe dry.
Stained Finishes - Clean with slightly damp cloth only. Wipe dry.
No two trees are exactly alike and each cut of wood takes stain
differently. Variations between samples and finished goods should
be anticipated.
